This week, back to an old classic. The avocados are beautiful at the moment and I’ve got some lovely organic mealies (corn) as well, so it seemed like a good time to do Mexican food.
Main course: Burritos- mildly spicy pumpkin-seed based filling with marinated veggies, fresh salsa and guacamole, served in a lettuce boat. R60
Dessert: Strawberry cheesecake- cashew-based strawberry filling in an almond-date crust. R15/slice

Pick-up is on Tuesday, 21 June from one of four locations:
-any time after 10:30 at Fruits and Roots, Bryanston;
-any time after 11:00 at Greenlands, Parkhurst;
-any time after 11:30 at Fresh Earth, Emmarentia;
-any time after 12:00 at Roots, Illovo;
-Sorry, no pick-up in Observatory this week.
