I’ve posted these recipes before, so I’ll just give you links this week. Raw lasagna is one of those raw dishes that you can safely serve to any omnivore– even one of Italian descent– without worrying that they’ll find it too weird or unfamiliar. The flavours of the pesto, the tomato sauce and the macadamia ricotta blend beautifully. You can feel free to add additional layers of marinated spinach, marinated mushrooms, or whatever you fancy. Serve with a side salad (in this case, I just tossed chopped spinach with olive oil, lemon juice and a pinch of Kalahari salt).

The superfood truffles are an old favourite– they were a regular feature at the Jozi Uncooked stall at Market on Main for the first few months there. They taste wonderful, and pack a serious anti-oxidant punch because of the cacao and the goji berries. Mmm.

p.s. What do you think of image quality? the new camera has finally arrived, so I’ve got lots of mega-pixels and a powerful zoom. I’m still figuring it out, but the pictures definitely look clearer.
